About Therapeutic CourtsSpokane County Felony Drug and Mental Health Courts are voluntary diversion programs to give person with substance use disorders and/or mental health challenges the opportunity to enter a court-supervised treatment program, while preventing a felony on their record. This highly structured and cost-effective program combines treatment, drug testing, education and intensive community supervision that effectively reduces drug use and associated criminal activity.
The Spokane County Felony Drug Court has over 600+ graduates, whose recidivism rate hovers under 15% (compared to a recidivism rate over 75% for the vast majority of offenders with addiction). We celebrate graduations from the programs monthly. If you are interested in joining us for a graduation please contact Ms. Sheena Hargrave, the Therapeutic Court Coordinator, at shargrave@spokanecounty.org. More information about the Felony Drug and Mental Health Courts can be found on the Superior Court website. |
